2011 29er Pacific Coast Championships
& I-14 Gorge Regatta

July 8-10, 2011

The Columbia Gorge Racing Association is pleased to welcome the skiff classes back to the Gorge for the 2011 29er Pacific Coast Championships Na I-14 Gorge Regatta. For official  information about the regatta, please see the Notice of Race.

Eligibility

The Regatta is open to 29ers and I-14s. The 29er Pacific Coast Championship Regatta is open to all boats of the 29er class that meet the obligations of the Class Rules and the governing National Authority.

Venue

The Columbia River Gorge at Cascade Locks, Oregon

Regatta Format

Courses will be standard windward-leeward as specified in the Sailing Instructions (available at registration). A minimum of 3 races must be completed to constitute a regatta. When 5 or more races are completed, sailors may discard their worst score. When 10 or more races are completed, sailors may discard their worst two scores.

Fees

Entry fee:  $135.00 includes refreshments after racing each race day, a barbecue dinner on Saturday night, and a regatta souvenir.
US Sailing Member: $5.00 discount
Extra Dinners:  $15.00 each

Cascade Locks is located in the heart of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, 45 minutes east of Portland International Airport on Interstate 84. Cascade Locks and surrounding communities have a wide range of accommodations from camping to four-star resort hotels (see visitor information).
