2008 29er US National Championships
& Gorge Skiff Regatta

The Columbia Gorge Racing Association is pleased to welcome the
29er, 49er, and I-14 classes to
the Columbia River Gorge for the 2008 29er US National Championships & Gorge
Skiff Regatta. For official information about

Eligibility
The 29er National Championship
Regatta is open to all boats of the 29er class that meet the obligations of the
Class Rules and the governing National Authority. All 29er competitors must be
fully paid current members of the 29er North American Class Association.
The Skiff Regatta is open to I-14 and 49er classes.
Venue
The Columbia River Gorge at Cascade Locks, Oregon
Regatta Format
Courses will be standard
windward-leeward as specified in the Sailing Instructions (available at
registration). A minimum of 3 races must be completed to constitute a regatta.
When 7 or more races are completed, sailors may discard their worst score. When
11 or more races are completed, sailors may discard their worst two scores. When
16 or more races are completed, sailors may discard their 3 worst scores.

Entry fee:
$125.00
US Sailing Member: $5.00

Late registration fee:
$25.00 after July 18, 2008
The entry fee includes refreshments after racing each race
day, a barbecue dinner on Saturday night, and a regatta souvenir.

Cascade Locks is located in the
heart of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, 45 minutes east of Portland
International Airport on Interstate 84. Cascade Locks and surrounding
