Wednesday, July 7

12 pm: Rigged & registered
12:15 pm: Group discussion (clinic format, goals, explanation of drills, safety, etc.)
12:30 pm: Break into classes for boat handling discussion
2-4 pm: On-water drills, emphasis on boat handling (starting, mark rounding, etc.), concluding with 3-5 race series
4-5 pm Debrief in groups

Thursday, July 8

9:30 am: Group tuning discussion (boat setup, how to test)
10:30 am-noon: Testing session (3 boat groups)
noon-2 pm: Lunch break
2-2:45 pm: Whole group tactical discussion
3-4:30 pm: 3-4 race series with medium-length courses (individual coaching before, during, after races)
5 pm: Wrap-up with whole group

2010 Skiff Performance Clinic

July 7-8, 2010

As a prelude to the 2010 Skiff Regatta and 29er PCCs, CGRA is pleased to host the Skiff Performance Clinic for I-14s & 29ers. This is a unique opportunity to tune up with some of the world's best skiff sailors in one of the world's most spectacular sailing venues!

Coaching Staff

Coaching will be provided by experienced skiff sailors TBD.

Program

The goal of the Skiff Performance Clinic is to provide each participant with a clear action plan for improved performance. The emphasis will be on tuning, testing, and boat handling, utilizing both onshore chalk talks and on-the-water drills and short races.
