Gorge Area Resident Lessons:
Sunday 6:00 - 8:00pm

About our Lessons

What to Bring:

Expect to get wet and be swimming
Bring old tennis shoes or sailing shoes.
Bring a hat and sunscreen.
Bring a towel and a change of cloths/shoes.

We Expect:

Students must wear life jackets at all times while on the docks or in the boats.
Students must at least 8 years old by the first day of class.
Students must know how to swim 50 yards, a swim test may be given.

2017 CGRA Opening Day

Cascade Locks Marine Park

Come on out to the Marine Park and join the CGRA team for a fun day of sailing activities, informal races, and barbecue. Meet some new friends and find out what CGRA is doing to bring world class sailing to the Gorge! Look for us on the beach just east of the marina (see map).

Sailboat Rides

Let's go sailing! Experienced skippers will be on hand to give rides to the whole family (no experience needed!). It's a great opportunity to taste the thrill of sailing the Gorge in one of CGRA's high performance dinghies.

Cascade Locks is located in the heart of the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, 45 minutes east of Portland International Airport on Interstate 84. Cascade Locks and surrounding communities have a wide range of accommodations from camping to four-star resort hotels (see visitor information).
